Writing a CV (السيرة الذاتية) in Arabic can be a very useful thing to do if you consider working in the Middle East. It can impress some employers in case knowledge of Arabic is required for the job. In this post, I present some useful expressions that you can use to write your CV in Arabic.

CV =  سيرة ذاتية

Full name =   الاسم بالكامل

Name =  الاسم

Surname =  اللقب

Age = السن

Place of birth = محل الميلاد

Date of birth = تاريخ الميلاد

Nationality = الجنسية

Marital status = الحالة الاجتماعية

Gender =  النوع

Male =  ذكر

Female = أنثى

Education = التعليم

School = مدرسة

College = كلية

University = جامعة

Certificate = شهادة

Diploma = دبلوما

B.A. = بكالوريوس / ليسانس

MA = ماجستير

PhD = دكتوراة

Experience = خبرة

Work experience = خبرة عملية

Achievements = إنجازات

Prizes/awards = جوائز

Skills = مهارات

Language skills = مهارات لغوية
