The art of seduction is something that differs from many cultures and each country has its own customs of courting that special someone, however ones we win the heart of that person, its rather mutual understanding, willingness and making a relationship work, but also appreciating, believing and standing at each others side in life. This is actually where also certain names are used for loved ones, to make them feel wanted, special and cared about, a reminder also in giving each other the strength and support of the many obstacles in life that lies ahead. Love is something that is simply unexplainable

Have you ever observed your wife, all occupied doing chores and suddenly you find yourself walking up to her you, whispering that one special name in her ear? Germans love to pamper their spouses, but not only with candy or romantic evenings with wine. Germans tend to use names to make a day/evening charming to their sweethearts, that might sound a bit corky at first, with the most popular one: “ Schatz” (Meaning: treasure) or the many variations that derive from this: Schatzi, Schätzchen, Schätzelchen, Schätzlein etc.
