Poem in Hindi – Aag Jalni Chahiye Posted by on Jun 23, 2012 in Hindi Language

There is a great poem which I could not resist without sharing with you. In this poem, the poet ask very passionately to ignite a fire of revolution.

As always, the poem need to be understood from the context of the topic otherwise, it is difficult to make any sense from the literal meaning of the text.

Hope, you will try to comprehend the poem with the above given explanation. So, let us begin.

(Aag Jalni Chahiye – Fire must be ignited)
(Dushyant Kumar)

The pain has become like a mountain, should melt down,
From these Himalaya, the Ganga (a sacred river that spill out from Himalayas) should emerge.

Today, this wall is shaking like curtains.
the bet was that the foundation should shake.

On every road, in every street, every city, in every village,
the corpse should walk with waving hand.

Only creating a furor, is not my intention.
all efforts are, that, this situation should change.

If it is not in my heart (this intention), then at least in your heart,
Where ever fire would be, but fire should be ignited.
