Poem in Hindi – Mashal Posted by on Aug 24, 2012 in Hindi Language

I found an interesting poem in Hindi which I would like to share with you. I have translated the poem into English so you can also understand, how to read a poem in Hindi.

Hope, you will try to comprehend the poem with the above given explanation. So, let us begin.

कविता (Kavita – Poem) : मशाल (Mashaal – Torch)
(Mahendra Bhatnagar)

Life has been shattered into pieces,
Doors are locked, the phase is bound.
Eyes are no opening,
Because they are making fun,
Looking again and again to the sky!

All melodies – rhythms have broken,
The fire of life is also extinguishing.
It is coming fast,
the immense darkness.
Today it is raining in the World,
Smoke and Smoke!

Who can take the blow of strong Iron
Can endure the strike,
Will live.
The society, which,
is bounded into the unity
Evergreen with the expression of affection and love
Can battles with the storms!

The torch of new light,
is burning in every street,
Darkness is disintegrating.
To salvage the impatient world,
Infallible resonance of unerring sound.
Rising passionately the imaginary,
Potential head of man!
