Poem in Hindi – Tum Posted by on Nov 22, 2012 in Hindi Language

Like some interesting poems in Hindi which I had shared with you in previous post, today I have an interesting poem for you. I have translated the poem into English so you can also understand how to read a poem in Hindi.

Hope, you will try to comprehend the poem with the above given explanation. So, here it is.

कविता (Kavita – Poem) : तुम (Tum – You)
(Ashok Kumar Shukla)

Do
you know that,
where does air stay?
maybe everywhere.

but it is not seen,
it just knocks on the door,
sometimes gently,
and sometimes like a storm.

it is not seen,
it can only be felt,
like it has gone gently by touching us,
like a fragrant blow of air,
or like whispering the leaves of the tree,
like it has given some indication.

just like, you are!
not to be seen,
and doesn’t leave the neighborhood.
