How would you like to spend enam bulan (six months) in Indonesia? That’s right – setengah tahun (half a year). Imagine how many pantai (beaches) you can relax on, how many beautiful matahari terbenam (sunsets) you can see, and of course, how many delicious plates of nasi campur (mixed rice) you can eat.

I was fortunate enough to spend six months (and then some) in Indonesia as part of the Darmasiswa Program, studying the language and culture of the country in Bali. In addition to exploring the Island of the Gods, I also got to travel to both Lombok and Flores. Check out some highlights of six months in Indonesia in this video:
