Como usar a palavra “though” Posted by on Feb 17, 2011 in Intermediário

Hey, there! How’ve you been?

He’s already had dinner, but he’s still hungry.
He’s already had dinner. He’s still hungry, though.

I like English, but I don’t study it.
I like English. I don’t study it, though.

Mary went to the movies, but she didn’t like the movie.
Mary went to the movies. She didn’t like the movie, though.

Jack was in Europe, but he didn’t go to Germany.
Jack was in Europe. He didn’t go to Germany, though.

Tente transformar as seguintes frases com but, usando a palavra though.

1. He passed the test, but he didn’t study for it.
2. She didn’t want to go to the party, but she liked it.
3. He told me everything was alright, but he didn’t convince me.
