Diálogo para prática da pronúncia

Posted on 11. May, 2011 by in Pronúncia

Hey, there! How’s it going?

Hoje vamos fazer um exercício de pronúncia com as várias formas contraídas do inglês americano, como gonna, gotta, wanna, etc. Veja o diálogo abaixo, escrito normalmente e lido devagarzinho.

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

A: What are you doing tonight?
B: I don’t know yet. I think I’m going to just stay home.
A: Want to go to a movie?
B: I’m kind of tired. I’ve got to get up early tomorrow.
A: Did you go out last night?
B: Yeah, I shouldn’t have gone to bed so late. I would’ve had a lot more energy today.
A: Why don’t you just take it easy then, and we’ll go out some other time.
B: Okay, let me know when you’re free again. See you!

Ouça e pratique as seguintes expressões como são faladas normalmente. O que está entre parênteses é a forma como elas seriam escritas em inglês coloquial.

What are you (whaddaya)
I don’t know ( I dunno)
going to (gonna)
want to (wanna)
kind of (kinda)
got to (gotta)
Did you? (Joo?)
shouldn’t have (shouldna)
would have (woulda)
don’t you (doncha)

let me (lemme)
you (ya)

Agora escute o diálogo (e pratique-o) com a velocidade normal que os americanos falam.
