Happy Mother’s Day! (お母さん　ありがとう)

Happy Mother’s  Day everyone!  Today’s is Mother’s Day, the day to thank your mom, to show her your appreciation and how grateful you are for having her as your mother.  In your country wherever you live, you might celebrate Mother’s Day on a different day other than on the second Sunday in May, but in Japan, it’s always on the second Sunday in the month of May.

 

Today’s lesson is all about the words you can tell your mom on this special day.  Read on~

お母さん、母　（おかあさん、はは）

Okasan, haha

母の日　（ははのひ)

Haha no hi

 

 

Mom, thank you for everything.

お母さん　ありがとう。　（おかあさん　ありがとう）
