Progressive Tense “Ing” Posted by on Oct 26, 2015 in Uncategorized

This is one of useful expressions what you are doing now. Grammar point is “V. S. +고 있다/go it da/ ing”. Please read some example and then make your own sentences.

To go –가다

가고 있다 – 가고 있어요

집에 가고 있어요/I am going home.

To eat – 먹다

먹고 있다 – 먹고 있어요

밥을 먹고 있어요/ I am eating a meal.

To watch/to see 보다

보고 있다 – 보고 있어요

저는 영화를 보고 있어요/ I am watching a movie.

To meet- 만나다

만나고 있다 – 만나고 있어요

저는 지금 친구를 만나고 있어요/I am meeting a friend now.

To study – 공부하다

공부하고 있다 – 공부하고 있어요

저는 지금 공부하고 있어요/I am studying now.
