“To” and “From” a Time

It is important how to let other people know the schedules such a “This meeting will be from 1 o’clock to 5 o’clock”. 부터 is from (Time and location), and까지 is until and (up) to. This phrase very high frequency, so it is valuable to learn. Please read examples below

두 시부터 네 시까지 친구를 만날 거예요/doo si bu teo nae si gga ji chin gu lul man nal geo yae yo/ I am going to meet a friend from 2o’clock to 4o’clock.

한 시부터 아홉 시까지 잘 거예요/han si bu teo a hop si gga ji jal geo ye yo/ I am going to bed from 1 o’clock to 9 o’clock.

여덟 시부터 열 시까지 미팅이 있어요/ yeo deol si bu teo yeol si gga ji meeting e it eo yo/ I have a meeting from 8 o’clock to 9 o’clock.

“To” and “From” a Location

서울부터 부산까지 다섯 시간 걸려요/ Seoul bu teo bu san gga ji da seot si gan geol leu yo/it takes five hours from Seoul to Busan.

지하철로 서울역부터 강남 역까지 한 시간 걸려요/ ji ha cheol lo Seoul yeok bu teo kang nam yeok gga ji han si gan geol leo yo/ it takes one hour from Seoul station to Kangnam station by subway.

    I thought location use 에서?

      @Jenny That’s correct, but not only 에서 is location. You can say, “서울에서 부산까지 or 서울부터 부산까지/from Seoul to Busa”. I hope this help.
