Great new tool for language and culture

We at Transparent Language are big fans of anything that lets people interact with language and learn about other cultures. So we were particularly excited when Google released this new tool, Google NGram viewer. It gives you insight on the relative importance of words and ideas within a language by displaying the frequency of words over time.
Check it out across different words and languages. Have fun, and always keep learning! For more opportunities to interact with language in an authentic way, you should connect with a real, live instructor. You’ll love our new language classes!

Google certainly does some amazing things with these large-scale projects, but I definitely think it’s important to continue to emphasize the value real, live instructors, as you put it nicely.
