Are you taking advantage of Transparent Language’s free resources? Posted by on Apr 3, 2017 in Archived Posts

Yes, we’re in the business of training languages for professionals and motivated individuals, but that doesn’t mean we don’t love a good freebie.

As we all know, one resource won’t make you fluent, so we want to make sure you’re taking advantage of our many free language resources.

Word of the Day

Receive a new vocab word in your inbox every day with our Word of the Day emails, available in more than two dozen languages. Daily exposure is crucial when learning a new language, so these emails will serve as a friendly reminder to spend a few minutes studying. Supported by audio and an example sentence, you’ll also learn a range of new vocabulary, including stuff you might not find in your typical textbook.

Language and Culture Blogs

Also available in more than two dozen languages, our language and culture blogs dive deeper into vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and of course the target culture. From conjugations to current events, the blogs have it all. Want more general language learning advice? Check out the Language News Blog as well!

Proficiency Tests

If you’re learning on your own, it can be hard to measure your progress. Get an idea of your proficiency level with one of our free proficiency tests. This will show you how far you’ve come, but also help you better choose learning resources.

eBooks

Our free downloadable eBooks include language-specific Beginner Guides as well as general language learning advice and tricks from the experts. Covering topics like making time for language learning, raising globally-minded children, and bilingual recipes, there’s something for everyone.

Transparent Language Online

To anyone serious about learning a new language as quickly and efficiently as possible, we still recommend a subscription to Transparent Language Online, our online platform with alphabet courses, pronunciation activities, and much more. While an individual subscription is not free, you can likely find it free in a library near you!
