This section deals with nouns that add -s to the stem of the noun to form the nominative plural. It applies to masculine and feminine nouns.

N : –iēs

G : –um

D : –ibus

Acc : –ēs

Abl : –ibus

The endings for the Latin word for prince, leader:

N : prīncipēs

G : prīncipum

D : prīncipibus

Acc : prīncipēs

Abl : prīncipibus

The endings of the Latin word for virtue:

N : virtūtēs

G : virtūtum

D : virtūtibus

Acc : virtūtēs

Abl : virtūtibus
