Orquestra Imperial isn’t exactly an orchestra; it’s actually a band made up of 18 members, including famous and non-famous musicians alike who have rotated through various concerts with the group. The band has included Zeca Pagodinho, Seu Jorge, Caetano Veloso, and Elza Soares, amongst other big names, The band was formed in 2002 to play a show in Rio de Janeiro to play samba and covers of well-known Brazilian songs. They released two albums in 2006 and 2007, and toured in Europe and the United States.

It’s safe to say they are amazing and their music is the cream of the crop of samba, so check them out below!
