Planning Your Trip to Rio

High tourist season has begun in Brazil, and since many international tourists spend part or all of their time in Rio, I’m going to give you some helpful resources for planning your trip.
- Check out the floating Christmas tree on the Lagoon, the largest of its kind in the world
- Take a ride on the Skol Ferris Wheel, which will be open starting December 31st
- See the Globo Beach Guide for the best beaches in the city
- Attend a technical rehearsal of the city’s samba schools at the Sambodrome
- Go to Copacabana for the world-famous New Year’s celebration
