  1. Grace Evans:

Well explained Steve ! Thanks a bunch 🙂

  2. Judy:

That was sooooo helpful! Now I FINALLY understand how these sentences should be constructed!!! I’ve never been quite sure! And… Why the heck hasn’t anyone ever explained this to me before??!! Just let me make my mistakes and tell me how great my Swedish is??? Well, now I know the truth!

  3. Karen:

Tack igen, Steve! Not only am I learning Swedish, but I am also brushing up on my English grammer too! One suggestion… could you perhaps go a little slower or pause just a bit between sentences to give us time to let each thought sink in a little.

A question: how is it that you are so young and so perfectly fluent in Swedish? Did you grow up speaking Swedish in your home?

    • Steve:

@Karen Hi there! Thanks for the comment and suggestion; it’s definitely appreciated! I also appreciate the compliment; I lived in Sweden for a year as a foreign exchange student last year so that’s where I learned everything. I’ve always been into languages and grammar and such, so it came to me quickly! 😉 It’ still not 100% perfect, but enough to teach this level.

  4. Vivi:

@Karen, you could pause the video if u need to go slower. if he went too slow, it’s more difficult to make it go faster.

  5. Nikki:

Ahh these videos are super handy, I reckon if we had been taught French at school using such techniques I’d be fluent by now!
    Haha tack så mycket!

  6. Sue Nordin:

Excellent, Steve! Very helpful and clear. Thank you.

  7. Danielle:

    One year? :O
    Impressive 😀

  8. Karen:

Wow, I am impressed, Steve! You sound that good in just a year?!?! That gives me hope, but I am sure my old(er) brain won’t pick it up as quickly as you did. Also, my Swedish friend keeps telling me that if I lived there and heard the language everyday, I would get it much faster. I think he is just trying to get me to move there for him! 😉 Wish I could, and maybe someday….

  9. Darlene Gates:

I really like your grammar videos. Could you please help us with “short answers”? The “Ja,det gor han eller, Nej, det gör han inte. When do you use göra, vara or ha?

  10. Rosmarie Kälin:

Wow liksom!
    Tack

  11. Lisa:

Haha, if a friend walked up to me and said out of nowhere “The girl ate the cookie”, it would be just as weird. But I get your point, of course, thanks for your videos, they’re very helpful. 🙂

  12. Eric Swanson:

    Excellent lesson!
