While I’m really enjoying this blog, I’m not sure about “Thai Language”. What about “Thai party with occasional cultural comments”?

@GeorgeS Thanks for the comment, George. The blog is all about Thailand, trying to focus on language & culture while introducing the country and places in it. If you’ll check the posts for the past month or so, you’ll also find ones about the king and his passing, the holidays Loi Krathong and Yi Peng, an adventurous tour of the country, and how to introduce yourself. I don’t think that the two posts about partying in the country make that the primary focus. We want people to look at the site, get interested in Thailand, and hopefully decide to dive into the culture and learn some of the language. Whether you like it or not, a lot of people go to Thailand for the first time primarily to let loose and have a good time, myself included. Our first trip there was based around visiting a friend in Bangkok and going to the Full Moon Party, but we ended up returning on numerous occasions, branching out to visit the historical capitals, hit museums and temples, do a motorbike trip, get scuba certified, and even study Thai for a week in Bangkok. My Thai is very limited, so my posts on the language are as a result. We’re currently looking for another blogger to contribute language-heavy posts, so if you or anyone you know can fill that void, please let us know!

Bangkok is so beautiful. Now that I am married Bangkok is like that old girlfriend that you will love and miss forever. If you are in America and your chick dumps you, go to Thailand. You will forget that chick who dumped you within 48 hours! I guarantee it.
