Marhaba! I am confident that you all both refreshed your memory and learned the 10 most common words about government and politics<\/a> in Arabic. You will come across most if not all these words in any daily Arabic newspaper. In the wake of the Arab Spring, the question of government types and relationship between politics and government is at the forefront of any discussion of Arab politics. With the many shortcomings in established and consolidated democracies around the world, we need to keep in mind that it took years for these democracies around the world to become what they are today. And still, they have a fair share of problems. States in the Arab world are no exception; they also have a tough road ahead to be able to work out the inherent tension between politics and government.
