The name Al-Beheira in Arabic means &#8220;Lake <strong>\u0628\u0640\u0640\u062d\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0631\u0629<\/strong>&#8220;. The whole governorate was given that name because of the Idku Lake <strong>\u0628\u0640\u0640\u062d\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0631\u0629<\/strong> <strong>\u0627\u062f\u0643\u0640\u0640\u0648<\/strong> that lies between the city of <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/arabic\/rosetta-rasheed\/\">Rosetta<\/a> and the city of <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/arabic\/famous-cities-alexandria-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A5%D8%B3%D9%83%D9%86%D8%AF%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9-al-iskandariya-part-1\/\">Alexandria<\/a> on the Mediterranean. Damanhour is the capital of Al-Beheira Governorate. Damanhur was known in the ancient Egyptian scripts by the name &#8220;Dmi en Hor&#8221;; which means &#8220;the city of the god Hor or <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Horus\">Horus<\/a>&#8220;. The festival has witnessed so many artistic folk shows from different areas of Egypt and Arab and foreign countries. The festival events <strong>\u0641\u0640\u0640\u0639\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0627\u062a<\/strong> lasted for six days with about ten musical troupes from four countries; Algeria <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u062c\u0640\u0640\u0632\u0627\u0626\u0640\u0640\u0631<\/strong> , Indonesia <strong>\u0625\u0646\u0640\u0640\u062f\u0648\u0646\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0633\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0627<\/strong> , Greece <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0646<\/strong> and Egypt.
