She is best known in Egypt by her professional name Fayrouz <strong>\u0641\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0631\u0648\u0632<\/strong> that was chosen to her by the famous Egyptian actor Anwar Wagdi <strong>\u0623\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0631<\/strong> <strong>\u0648\u062c\u0640\u0640\u062f\u064a<\/strong> changing the first letter of her name. The Egyptian-Syrian comedian Elias Mo&#8217;addib <strong>\u0625\u0644\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0633 \u0645\u0640\u0640\u0624\u062f\u0628<\/strong> was a friend of her father. He was the first to notice her talent <strong>\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0647\u0640\u0640\u0628\u0640\u0640\u0629<\/strong>. He used to play the violin <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0643\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0645\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0646<\/strong> in Fayrouz&#8217;s house and she used to dance in front of the family. Mo&#8217;addib wrote and composed a monologue <strong>\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0648\u062c<\/strong> for Fayrouz and took her to sing it in one concert. Everyone admired her. He then took her to a competition in a famous Cairo night club. She attracted the attention of all the cinema-makers and producers. Mo&#8217;addib chose the famous actor and producer Anwar Wagdi to sign with Fayrouz. Wagdi gave her some brief training and directly introduced her to the cinema. Fayoruz was just seven years old when she appeared in her first film &#8220;Yasmine (Jasmin) <strong>\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0633\u0640\u0640\u0645\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0646<\/strong>&#8221; in 1950. In 1952, she starred the film &#8220;Sourat Al-Zifaf (The Wedding Photo) <strong>\u0635\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0631\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0632\u0641\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0641<\/strong>&#8220;. Then, she came back to show up in a number of dramatic works. Her works were not much as successful as her previous works, so she decided to retire at the age of sixteen. Although she produced only ten films during her short artistic career, she is still remembered as the &#8220;Miracle of the Egyptian Cinema&#8221;. Fayrouz died on the 30<sup>th<\/sup>.
