Is there a relationship between a person\u2019s name and his\/her character and\/or his\/her interests? I do believe yes. \u201cSaleh \u0635\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u062d<\/strong>\u201d is an Arabic adjective that means \u201cpious\u201d! Also, \u201cAl-Sha\u2019ir \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0634\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0639\u0640\u0640\u0631<\/strong>\u201d means \u201cthe poet\u201d! There is an old Arabic saying that applies to our case here. The saying is; \u201c\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0643\u0640\u0640\u0644 \u0627\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0631\u0649\u0621\u064d \u0645\u0640\u0640\u0646 \u0627\u0633\u0640\u0640\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0647 \u0646\u0640\u0640\u0635\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0628<\/strong><\/span>\u201d which translates as \u201cEveryone has a share of his\/her name<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201d. As most Arabic names are real adjectives or names that have meanings, so the saying is often true especially when the person adopts a career or an interest that reflects the meaning or essence of his\/her name.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Saleh Al-Sha\u2019ir<\/a> is an Egyptian university professor, writer and poet. He got his Bachelor degree from Al-Azhar University in 2003 majoring in Arabic Language. His passion and love to the Arabic language pushed him forward to further study the Arabic Syntax \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0651\u064e\u0640\u0640\u062d\u0640\u0640\u0652\u0640\u0640\u0648<\/strong>, Morphology \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0631\u0641<\/strong> and Poetry \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0634\u0640\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0639\u0640\u0640\u0652\u0640\u0640\u0631<\/strong> (Al-Arud \u0639\u0640\u0640\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0639\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0631\u0648\u0636<\/strong>), so he got his Master degree from Cairo University in 2006 and his PhD in 2009. He has taught at many universities in the gulf area and has so many publications. He wrote four volumes of poetry and many articles about\u00a0the Arabic language.<\/p>\n
