In this post, I put explain them together in order to make their use together clearer. There are 2 endings that can be used with dual nouns and adjectives, i.e. (<span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0627\u0646<\/span>) and (<span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0640\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0646<\/span>). In the nominative case, i.e. when the noun is used as a subject or as predicate of nominal sentences, the nominative case applies and the ending (<span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0627\u0646<\/span>) is used, e.g.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u062f\u0631\u0633 \u0627\u0644\u0637\u0627\u0644\u0628\u0627\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u062c\u062f\u064a\u062f\u0627\u0646 \u0641\u064a \u0646\u0641\u0633 \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0641. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">\u201cBoth new students studies at the same class.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0627\u0644\u0643\u062a\u0627\u0628\u0627\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0643\u0628\u064a\u0631\u0627\u0646 \u062b\u0642\u064a\u0644\u0627\u0646.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">\u201cThe <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;\">(2) <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">big books are heavy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">When the noun is used as an object, the case is accusative and the ending (<span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0640\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0646<\/span>) is used, e.g.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0642\u0631\u0623\u062a \u0643\u062a\u0627\u0628\u064a\u0646 \u0645\u0641\u064a\u062f\u064a\u0646.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">\u201cI read <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;\">(2) <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">useful books.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0642\u0627\u0628\u0644\u0646\u0627 \u0632\u0645\u064a\u0644\u062a\u064a\u0646 \u0642\u062f\u064a\u0645\u062a\u064a\u0646.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">\u201cWe met <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;\">(2) <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">old colleagues.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">When the noun is used after a preposition or after the first word of an idafa construction, the case is genitive and the ending (<span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0640\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0646<\/span>) is used, e.g.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u062a\u0643\u0644\u0645\u062a \u0645\u0639 \u0635\u062f\u064a\u0642\u064a\u0646 \u062c\u062f\u064a\u062f\u064a\u0646.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">\u201cI spoke with <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;\">(2) <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">new friends.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u063a\u0631\u0641\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0637\u0627\u0644\u0628\u064a\u0646 \u0648\u0627\u0633\u0639\u0629.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">\u201cThe room of the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;\">(2) <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">students is spacious.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">It should be noted that the same applies to other dual forms that can be used with the nouns not only the adjectives, e.g. demonstratives and relative pronouns. Consider the use of the relative pronouns in the following sentences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0627\u0644\u0637\u0627\u0644\u0628\u0627\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u062c\u062f\u064a\u062f\u0627\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0630\u0627\u0646 \u064a\u062f\u0631\u0633\u0627\u0646 \u0641\u064a \u0635\u0641\u064a \u0644\u0637\u064a\u0641\u0627\u0646 . <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">\u201cThe <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;\">(2) <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">new students who study at my class are nice.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0642\u0627\u0628\u0644\u062a \u0627\u0644\u0637\u0627\u0644\u0628\u064a\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u062c\u062f\u064a\u062f\u064a\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0630\u064a\u0646 \u064a\u062f\u0631\u0633\u0627\u0646 \u0641\u064a \u0635\u0641\u064a. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">\u201cI met the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;\">(2) <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">new students who study at my class.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0647\u0627\u062a\u0627\u0646 \u0642\u0635\u062a\u0627\u0646 \u0634\u064a\u0642\u062a\u0627\u0646. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">\u201cThese are <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;\">(2) <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">interesting stories.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In previous posts, I explained the case marking system and the dual.
