Marhaba! Given it’s summer and the weather is perfect for having barbecues, today I want to share a recipe that my family has been using for generations for grill chicken. I want to add that this dish exists in many parts of the world, but using some ingredients from Lebanon makes it a recipe for grilling chicken the Lebanese way.<\/p>\n

It’s very easy and straightforward. If you share my passion for outdoor grilling and have an appetite for a hefty dish, then by all means mix these ingredients and grill chicken the Lebanese way. More importantly during this Holy Month of Ramadan, this dish is definitely worth having after a long day of fasting. Enjoy and let me know how it goes \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Ingredients (\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0643\u0648\u0646\u0627\u062a<\/strong>)<\/span><\/p>\n

-Whole chicken or pieces of chicken, breast or thighs (\u062f\u062c\u0627\u062c\u0629 \u0643\u0627\u0645\u0644\u0629 \u0623\u0648 \u0642\u0637\u0639 \u062f\u062c\u0627\u062c<\/strong>)
\n-Cup of red vinegar (\u062e\u0644\u0651 \u0623\u062d\u0645\u0631<\/strong>)
\n-Cup of lemon juice (\u0639\u0635\u064a\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0627\u0645\u0636<\/strong>)
\n-2 garlic cloves (\u062d\u0635\u0635 \u062b\u0648\u0645<\/strong>)
\n-Cup of olive oil (\u0632\u064a\u062a<\/strong> \u0627\u0644\u0632\u064a\u062a\u0648\u0646<\/strong>)
\n-2 teaspoons of salt (\u0645\u0644\u062d<\/strong>)
\n-1 teaspoon of cinnamon (\u0642\u0631\u0641\u0629<\/strong>)
\n-1 teaspoon of cumin (\u0643\u0645\u0648\u0646<\/strong>)
\n-1 teaspoon of allspice (\u0633\u0628\u0639\u0629 \u0628\u0647\u0627\u0631\u0627\u062a<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

Directions (\u0637\u0631\u064a\u0642\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u062a\u062d\u0636\u064a\u0631<\/strong>)<\/span><\/p>\n

-Rinse (\u0627\u063a\u0633\u0644<\/strong>) chicken or pieces of chicken in water and salt to remove any odor.
\n-In a separate bowl, mix (\u0627\u0645\u0632\u062c<\/strong>) cinnamon, allspice, and cumin with red vinegar.
\n-Sprinkle the mixture on the chicken in another bowl (\u0631\u0634\u0651 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0632\u064a\u062c \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u062f\u062c\u0627\u062c \u0641\u064a \u0648\u0639\u0627\u0621 \u0622\u062e\u0631<\/strong>).
\n-Mix garlic cloves, salt, olive oil, and lemon juice in a food processor or blender.
\n-Add (\u0627\u0636\u0641<\/strong>) the blended paste on the chicken and leave to marinate (\u0646\u0642\u0639<\/strong>) for 4 hours or more.
\n-Prepare the grill and add pieces of chicken or whole chicken.
\n-While grilling (\u0634\u0648\u064a<\/strong>), use a brush to add leftover marinade to keep the chicken moist.<\/p>\n
