Marhaba! Summer is not almost gone or at least that’s what I am trying to convince myself. Don’t get me wrong, I love the fall season, but having a few more summer days is great. To keep up the summer spirit, today I am sharing a recipe for one my favorite beverages: Mint Lemonade.<\/p>\n

But of course, you know me by now, there is always a special twist with recipes. I invite you all to try Mint Lemonade the Levantine way, which basically means how most Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, and Jordanians usually have or offer this beverage at home or restaurants. It’s very straightforward and easy. Try the below recipe, which my family has relied on for many years. So, give it a shot and let me know how it goes! Mint Lemonade<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ingredients<\/u><\/p>\n

Half cup of lemon juice<\/span> (\u0639\u0635\u064a\u0631<\/strong> \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0627\u0645\u0636<\/strong>)
\nThree quarters cup of water<\/span> (\u0645\u0627\u0621<\/strong>)
\n7 tablespoons sugar<\/span> (\u0633\u0643\u0651\u0631<\/strong>)
\n6 stems of mint leaves<\/span> (\u0623\u0648\u0631\u0627\u0642<\/strong> \u0627\u0644\u0646\u0639\u0646\u0627\u0639<\/strong>), leave some aside for garnish at the end
\nBag of ice cubes<\/span> (\u0645\u0643\u0639\u0628\u0627\u062a<\/strong> \u0627\u0644\u062b\u0644\u062c<\/strong>)
\n2 drops of orange blossom water<\/span> (\u0645\u0627\u0621<\/strong> \u0627\u0644\u0632\u0647\u0631<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

Directions<\/u><\/p>\n

Mix sugar and half cup of water into a small saucepan over medium heat.
\nKeep saucepan on medium heat till sugar is completely dissolved.
\nLeave the saucepan to cool down to room temperature.
\nMix in mint leaves, ice cubes, blossom water, sugar mix, lemon juice, and remaining water into a blender.
\nBlend all ingredients thoroughly.
\nAdd mint garnish<\/span> (\u0632\u064a\u0646\u0629<\/strong>) to the cup and drink immediately.<\/p>\n
