Today I want to share with you a recipe for one of my favorite desserts, Rice Pudding, or as the Lebanese call it Riz bi-Halib which translates to Rice with Milk (<strong>\u0631\u0632 \u0628\u062d\u0644\u064a\u0628<\/strong>). This dessert reminds me of my childhood since it was one of the main dishes that my mother cooked and always had ready in the fridge for us hungry kids craving something sweet. Rice pudding is generally a shared food among various Arab cuisines and even non-Arab cuisines such as the Indian, Pakistani, Persian, and Afghani cuisines. What makes this particular recipe \u2018Lebanese\u2019 is the taste of the orange blossom water (<strong>\u0645\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u0632\u0647\u0631<\/strong>) added to the ingredients as you will see below. It is fast and easy to prepare, and I hope you enjoy it. Make it with love and you will find everyone around you cannot get enough of it!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Lebanese Rice Pudding (<strong>\u0631\u0632 \u0628\u062d\u0644\u064a\u0628 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0628\u0646\u0627\u0646\u064a<\/strong>)<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_14313\" style=\"width: 509px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter post-item__attachment\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mamaslebanesekitchen.com\/desserts\/lebanese-rice-pudding-pistachio-riz-haleeb-kheer\/#sthash.R89YPiEa.dpbs\" aria-label=\"Lebanese Rice Pudding Recipe1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14313\" class=\" wp-image-14313\"  alt=\"\" width=\"499\" height=\"332\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/arabic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2017\/05\/Lebanese-Rice-Pudding-Recipe1.jpeg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/arabic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2017\/05\/Lebanese-Rice-Pudding-Recipe1.jpeg 1000w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/arabic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2017\/05\/Lebanese-Rice-Pudding-Recipe1-350x233.jpeg 350w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/arabic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2017\/05\/Lebanese-Rice-Pudding-Recipe1-768x511.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-14313\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Image via Mama&#8217;s Lebanese Kitchen<\/p><\/div>\n<p><u>Ingredients (<strong>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0643\u0648\u0646\u0627\u062a<\/strong>)<br \/>\n<\/u>&#8211; \u00bd cup of rice (<strong>\u0627\u0644\u0627\u0631\u0632<\/strong>)<br \/>\n&#8211; 4 cups of milk (<strong>\u0627\u0644\u062d\u0644\u064a\u0628<\/strong>)<br \/>\n&#8211; 10-12 teaspoons of sugar (<strong>\u0627\u0644\u0633\u0643\u0631<\/strong>)<br \/>\n&#8211; 2 tablespoons of corn flour (<strong>\u062f\u0642\u064a\u0642 \u0627\u0644\u0630\u0631\u0629<\/strong>)<br \/>\n&#8211; 2 teaspoons orange blossom water (<strong>\u0645\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u0648\u0631\u062f<\/strong>)<br \/>\n&#8211; Crushed Pistachio (<strong>\u0627\u0644\u0641\u0633\u062a\u0642<\/strong>) for garnish<\/p>\n<p><u>Directions (<strong>\u0637\u0631\u064a\u0642\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u062a\u062d\u0636\u064a\u0631<\/strong>)<br \/>\n<\/u>&#8211; Rinse (<strong>\u0634\u0637\u0641<\/strong>) the rice and set aside to dry.<br \/>\n&#8211; While stirring continuously, boil (<strong>\u0627\u063a\u0644\u064a<\/strong>) the milk, and then add (<strong>\u0627\u0636\u0641<\/strong>) the sugar and rice for about 15 minutes on low heat.<br \/>\n&#8211; When the rice softens, add the orange blossom water and the corn flour. Stir well for another 5 minutes until the mixture hardens.
