Apart from the prayer, fasting, and self-reflection that this holy month brings, Ramadan is also known in Muslim-majority countries and specifically the Arab world as the month of top-rated television shows (<strong>\u0628\u0631\u0627\u0645\u062c \u062a\u0644\u0641\u0632\u064a\u0648\u0646\u064a\u0629<\/strong>)! As families and friends gather for the evening Iftar (<strong>\u0625\u0641\u0637\u0627\u0631<\/strong>), they huddle in front of their television sets to follow the lives and stories of their favorite TV characters or participate in TV gameshows. It follows the politics, romance, betrayals, and plots in these kingdoms, with characters very similar to the US hit series.
