In this post, we\u2019re going to focus on four other drinks, but it is <em>cold drinks<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0634\u0631\u0648\u0628\u0627\u062a \u0627\u0644\u0628\u0627\u0631\u062f\u0647<\/strong> (Al-mashroobaat\u00a0 al-baared-ah) rather than hot drinks this time. It\u2019s a typical drink for many Egyptians and people in the Levant region in Ramadan nights as well as on hot summer days. It\u2019s particularly useful for treating <em>dehydration <\/em><strong>\u0627\u0644\u062c\u0641\u0627\u0641<\/strong>\u00a0 and <em>constipation<\/em><strong> \u0627\u0644\u0625\u0645\u0633\u0627\u0643<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You can make amar ed-din by adding sugar to fresh apricot juice and boiling \u063a\u0644\u064a the liquid. Then,<em> pour <\/em><strong>\u0627\u0633\u0643\u0628<\/strong> \u00a0the liquid\u00a0<strong>\u0627\u0644\u0633\u0627\u0626\u0644<\/strong> \u00a0into <em>flat pans<\/em>\u00a0<strong> \u0642\u0648\u0627\u0644\u0628 \u0637\u0647\u064a \u0631\u0642\u064a\u0642\u0629<\/strong> and leave it to <em>dry<\/em> <strong>\u062a\u062c\u0641<\/strong> . You can buy it from the shop in the form of <em>paste sheets<\/em> <strong>\u0631\u0642\u0627\u0626\u0642 \u0645\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0639\u062c\u064a\u0646\u0647<\/strong>\u00a0 that you can consume by adding boiling water to.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Almond drink<\/strong><strong> \u0631\u0648\u0632\u0627\u0637\u0647 <\/strong><strong>(Ruzaatah) <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Ruzaatah<\/em> is a word of Italian origin \u2018Orzata\u2019 and it is the name Libyans and Tunisians (and \u00a0North Africans in general) use to describe a special type of <em>almond drink<\/em> <strong>\u0634\u0631\u0627\u0628 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0648\u0632<\/strong> that is served cold in <em>weddings<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0623\u0641\u0631\u0627\u062d<\/strong> and <em>special occasions<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0646\u0627\u0628\u0633\u0627\u062a \u0627\u0644\u062e\u0627\u0635\u0629<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p>In addition to weddings, the drink is also used in making some <em>traditional desserts<\/em><strong> \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0644\u0648\u064a\u0627\u062a \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0642\u0644\u064a\u062f\u064a\u0647<\/strong>. Rozaatah is made from ground <em>bitter and sweet almonds<\/em><strong> \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0648\u0632 \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0644\u0648 \u0648\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0631<\/strong>. Water and sugar are then added to the mixture which is then cooked until it becomes <em>thick<\/em><strong>\u00a0 \u0633\u0645\u064a\u0643 &#8211; \u0644\u0632\u062c<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Carcade <\/strong><strong>\u0643\u0631\u0643\u062f\u064a\u0647 <\/strong><strong>(Karkadeh)\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This drink is made from the decorative plan of Roselle, which is known for its lovely, bright red flowers. The drink is made by adding water (and sugar) to these <em>dried flowers<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0<strong> \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0632\u0647\u0627\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u062c\u0641\u0641\u0629<\/strong> and boiling the liquid.<\/p>\n<p>The drink has a <em>sour<\/em> <strong>\u062d\u0627\u0645\u0636<\/strong>\u00a0 fresh <em>taste<\/em> <strong>\u0637\u0639\u0645<\/strong> and can be served hot or drink, to gain <em>different benefits<\/em><strong> \u0641\u0648\u0627\u0626\u062f \u0645\u062e\u062a\u0644\u0641\u0629 <\/strong>. It\u2019s particularly <em>diuretic<\/em><strong> \u0645\u062f\u0631\u0651 \u0644\u0644\u0628\u0648\u0644<\/strong>\u00a0 and is also good for the heart and for <em>high blood pressure<\/em><strong> \u0636\u063a\u0637 \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0631\u062a\u0641\u0639<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pomegranate drink \u00a0\u0634\u0631\u0627\u0628 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0645\u0627\u0646 (sharaab Ar-rummaan)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Another fresh, naturally sweet drink that is particularly consumed in the Levant region is the <strong>\u0634\u0631\u0627\u0628 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0645\u0627\u0646<\/strong>\u00a0 which is similar to another popular drink called <em>rose water<\/em>\u00a0<strong> \u0645\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u0648\u0631\u062f\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0(maa\u2019 il-ward).\u00a0 As is the case with the cold drinks mentioned so far, the pomegranate drink is made by mixing pomegranate seeds (after <em>beating them<\/em> <strong>\u0636\u0631\u0628\u0647\u0645<\/strong>\u00a0 in the <em>electric mixer<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u062e\u0644\u0627\u0651\u0637 \u0627\u0644\u0643\u0647\u0631\u0628\u0627\u0626\u064a<\/strong>) with water and boiling the liquid.
