Libya is bordered by more famous Arabic countries, such as Egypt to the <em>east<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0634\u0631\u0642<\/strong>, Tunisia to the <em>west<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u063a\u0631\u0628<\/strong> and Sudan to the <em>South <\/em><strong>\u0627\u0644\u062c\u0646\u0648\u0628<\/strong> . \u00a0A large portion of the country is made up of <em>desert<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0635\u062d\u0631\u0627\u0621<\/strong> . About one sixth of this population lives in <em>the capital Tripoli<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0639\u0627\u0635\u0645\u0629 \u0637\u0631\u0627\u0628\u0644\u0633<\/strong> . In addition to Tripoli, the majority of the rest of the population lives in the other two major cities in Libya, which are <em>Benghazi<\/em> <strong>\u0628\u0646\u063a\u0627\u0632\u064a<\/strong> \u00a0in the east, and <em>Misurata<\/em> <strong>\u0645\u0635\u0631\u0627\u062a\u0629<\/strong> in the west.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Ethnicity \u0627\u0644\u0639\u0631\u0642 <\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Despite its small, homogenous population, the Libyan social structure is a bit complicated. Libyans are not just Arab in terms of ethnicity as some of them claim to be <em>Berber\/ Amazigh<\/em> <strong>\u0623\u0645\u0627\u0632\u064a\u063a<\/strong> and tend to inhabit the<em> Jabal al Gharbi District<\/em> <strong>\u0645\u0646\u0637\u0642\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u062c\u0628\u0644 \u0627\u0644\u063a\u0631\u0628\u064a<\/strong>. Another <em>minority<\/em> <strong>\u0623\u0642\u0644\u064a\u0629<\/strong>\u00a0 is a different group of Berber, which are\u00a0<em>Tuareg<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0637\u0648\u0631\u0627\u0642<\/strong> and <em>Toubou<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u062a\u0628\u0648,<\/strong>\u00a0who live in the Sahara, in the Southwestern parts of Libya.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Language \u0627\u0644\u0644\u063a\u0629 <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Standard Arabic is the <em>official <\/em>language\u00a0 <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0644\u063a\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0633\u0645\u064a\u0629<\/strong> in Libya, however, the actual spoken language that people use on a daily basis is Libyan Arabic. In addition to Libyan Arabic, there is <em>Berber language<\/em> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0644\u063a\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0645\u0627\u0632\u064a\u063a\u064a\u0629<\/strong>, which is spoken by around one million people, particularly in the west. Some of the cities where Berber is spoken is <em>Zwaarah<\/em> <strong>\u0632\u0648\u0627\u0631\u0629,<\/strong>\u00a0<em>\u00a0Ghadames<\/em> <strong>\u063a\u062f\u0627\u0645\u0633<\/strong> and several cities in <em>Nafusa Mountains<\/em><strong> \u062c\u0628\u0644 \u0646\u0641\u0648\u0633\u0629<\/strong> , such as <em>Jadu <\/em><strong>\u062c\u0627\u062f\u0648<\/strong>, <em>Yafran<\/em><strong> \u064a\u0641\u0631\u0646<\/strong>\u00a0 and <em>Kabaw<\/em> <strong>\u0643\u0627\u0628\u0627\u0648<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p>There is a large number of words that are derived from the Italian language, or what is called <em>loanwords <\/em><strong>\u0627\u0644\u0643\u0644\u0645\u0627\u062a \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0633\u062a\u0639\u0627\u0631\u0629<\/strong> . Most of these words are mainly utilised in everyday life. Few examples would be: Cucina (Kitchen) and is pronounced as (Kujeena) in Libyan Arabic.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Climate <\/strong><strong>\u0627\u0644\u0637\u0642\u0633<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Because of <em>its<\/em> <em>desert environment<\/em> <strong>\u0628\u064a\u0626\u062a\u0647\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0635\u062d\u0631\u0627\u0648\u064a\u0629<\/strong>, climate in Libya is <em>very dry<\/em> <strong>\u062c\u0627\u0641 \u062c\u062f\u0627\u064e<\/strong> \u00a0and mostly very <em>warm<\/em> <strong>\u062f\u0627\u0641\u064a\u0621<\/strong> or <em>hot<\/em>\u00a0 <strong>\u0633\u0627\u062e\u0646 <\/strong>during the summer, which is gradually becoming the longest season of the year. Some of the traditional meals are: <em>couscous<\/em> <strong>\u0643\u0633\u0643\u0633\u064a<\/strong> \u00a0(kusksi) (steamed <em>wheat semolina<\/em> <strong>\u0633\u0645\u064a\u062f \u0627\u0644\u0642\u0645\u062d \u00a0<\/strong>and tomato sauce with vegetables), <em>Bzeen<\/em> <strong>\u0628\u0627\u0632\u064a\u0646<\/strong> (Bazeen) and Arabic soup or <em><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/arabic\/how-to-make-libyan-soup-sharba\/\">Sharba \u0295arbiya<\/a><\/em> <strong>\u0634\u0631\u0628\u0629 \u0639\u0631\u0628\u064a\u0629<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s also influenced, to a great extent, by the Italian cuisine (due to the <em>Italian colonisation<\/em>\u00a0<strong>\u0627\u0644\u0627\u0633\u062a\u0639\u0645\u0627\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u0625\u064a\u0637\u0627\u0644\u064a<\/strong> of Libya, which started in 1910).
