She was born on 21<sup>st<\/sup> <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span class=\"mw-formatted-date\">November 1935 in Lebanon. In her childhood, she used to sing at school concerts and to neighbors<\/span> and friends in her family\u2019s simple house in Beirut. At one of the school concerts, Mohammed Fleyfel became impressed by her voice and encouraged her to join the Lebanese Conservatoire. After that, she was appointed a chorus singer at a radio station in Beirut. Halim El-Roumi discovered her talent and gave her the name Fayrouz. Later, she met Rahbani Brothers (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\">\u0627\u0644\u0623\u062e\u0648\u0627\u0646 \u0631\u062d\u0628\u0627\u0646\u064a<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">) who worked with her extensively.
