In this post, I write about the rules for writing hamza (\u0621) in Arabic at the end of the word. Just like medial hamza, the writing of final hamza depends on how it is vowelled and how the letters before it are vowelled. In this post, I will describe the most important rules. Final Hamza appears in one of the following forms (\u0621 \u060c \u0640\u0626\u060c \u0624 \u060c \u0623)<\/h3>\n

Final Hamza is written separately as (\u0621)<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

If it is preceded by a letter vowelled by \u0633\u0643\u0648\u0646, e.g.<\/h3>\n

\u062f\u0641\u0621 = warmth<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u062c\u0632\u0621 = part<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u0628\u062f\u0621 = beginning<\/em><\/h3>\n

If it is preceded by a long vowel and the hamza is vowelled by \u0633\u0643\u0648\u0646, e.g.<\/h3>\n

\u0636\u0648\u0621 = light\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u0634\u064a\u0621 = thing<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u0623\u0635\u062f\u0642\u0627\u0621 = friends<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u0645\u0628\u062f\u0623 = principle<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u0628\u062f\u0623 = started<\/em><\/h3>\n

If it is preceded by a letter vowelled by \u0636\u0645\u0629, e.g.<\/h3>\n

\u062a\u0643\u0627\u0641\u0624 = equivalence<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u0644\u0624\u0644\u0624 = pearl<\/em><\/h3>\n
