If you have, it must have sounded different from MSA and other dialects of other Arabic speaking countries. The Arabic dialect in Morocco is called Moroccan Arabic or Moroccan Darija. It has been heavily <strong>\u062a\u064e\u0623\u062b\u0631\u064e<\/strong> <strong>influenced<\/strong> by the Berber languages and to a lesser extent by French and Spanish. If you\u2019re interested in learning more about how and why Moroccan Arabic came to be, I thought this video does a good job explaining in detail its history and how the language is used today.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=v6x_6K0OR3w\">Moroccan Darija: an Arabic Dialect?<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Levantine Arabic<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In Levantine Arabic, for negation we use <strong>\u0645\u0627<\/strong> (verbal negation) and <strong>\u0645\u0648<\/strong> or <strong>\u0645\u0634<\/strong> (basically negating everything else).<\/p>\n<p>Note that <strong>\u0645\u0634<\/strong> can be pronounced <strong>\u0645\u0650\u0634<\/strong> with a <u>kesra<\/u> or <strong>\u0645\u064f\u0634<\/strong> with a <u>dama<\/u> depending where you are.
