The word “vegetarian<\/strong>” in Arabic is translated as \u0646\u064e\u0628\u0627\u062a\u064a<\/strong> coming from the word \u0646\u064e\u0628\u0627\u062a<\/strong> meaning plants<\/strong>. Yet, the word “vegan<\/strong>” doesn’t have a known translation in Arabic since the word \u201cvegan\u201d itself is simply a recent semantic derivative of vegetarian. There is a considerable difference between both diets and a vegan would not be able to order a vegetarian dish if it contains any animal products.
