He had a widespread popularity that he was nicknamed the &#8220;The Preacher of the Century <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u062f\u0627\u0639\u064a\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0642\u0631\u0646 <\/strong><\/span>&#8221; and &#8220;The Imam of All Preachers <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u0625\u0645\u0627\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0639\u0627\u0629 <\/strong><\/span>&#8220;. Sha&#8217;raawy was so talented in explaining the meanings of the Holy Qur&#8217;an. His best gift was shown when he explained, in simple words, the meanings behind the most difficult verses of the Qur&#8217;an. He was known as a poet and a lover of the Arabic language. He was also the only non-Saudi to give the Khutbah <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u062e\u0637\u0628\u0629 <\/strong><\/span>(sermon or Islamic speech) at Arafaat during the Hajj <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u0627\u0644\u062d\u062c<\/strong><\/span>(pilgrimage) season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sha&#8217;raawy was born in Dakadous village, Mit Ghamr, Ad&#8217;daqahliya, Egypt on the April, 5<sup>th<\/sup> , 1911. He is a descendant of Ali Bin Abi-Talib. He got married very young and has had two daughters and three sons. Sha&#8217;raawy memorized <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u062d\u0641\u0638<\/strong> <\/span>the whole Qur&#8217;an at the age of eleven. His father sent him to Al-Azhar in Cairo to further his education and paid for all his living expenses. In 1937, Sha&#8217;raawy joined the faculty of Arabic Language, Al-Azhar University and graduated <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u062a\u062e\u0631\u0651\u062c <\/span><\/strong>in 1941. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sha&#8217;raawy got his Master Degree <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u062f\u0631\u062c\u0629<\/strong> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0627\u062c\u0633\u062a\u064a\u0631<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>in 1943 and worked as a teacher in Tanta and Alexandria Religious Institutes. In 1950, he was appointed within one of Al-Azhar Missions to teach at the Faculty of Shari&#8217;a Law <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u0643\u0644\u064a\u0629<\/strong> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0634\u0631\u064a\u0639\u0629<\/strong> <\/span>, University of Umm Al-Qura <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u0623\u0645<\/strong> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0642\u0631\u0649<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>in Saudi Arabia. In 1963, he went back to Egypt and in 1966, he traveled to Algeria and remained there for seven years. In 1972, he went back to Saudi Arabia as a visiting professor <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u0623\u0633\u062a\u0627\u0630<\/strong> <strong>\u0632\u0627\u0626\u0631<\/strong> <\/span>at King Abdel-Aziz Faculty of Shari&#8217;a Law in Mecca <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u0645\u064e\u0643\u0651\u0629<\/strong> <\/span>then a President of the Graduate Studies Department. In 1976, he was appointed as a Minister <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u0648\u0632\u064a\u0631<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>of Endowments and Al-Azhar Affairs. As a minister, he was the first to issue a ministerial decision to establish the first Islamic bank in Egypt; The Faisal Islamic Bank <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u0628\u0646\u0643 \u0641\u064a\u0635\u0644 \u0627\u0644\u0625\u0633\u0644\u0627\u0645\u064a<\/span><\/strong> . In 1987, he became a member of the Arabic Compound <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u0645\u062c\u0645\u0639<\/strong> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0644\u063a\u0629<\/strong> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0639\u0631\u0628\u064a\u0629<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Sheikh Sha&#8217;raawy got many prizes and much more respect in Both inside and outside of Egypt.
