In this post, I present a list of the names of animal sounds (\u0623\u0633\u0645\u0627\u0621 \u0623\u0635\u0648\u0627\u062a \u0627\u0644\u062d\u064a\u0648\u0627\u0646\u0627\u062a). You can learn the names of the animals if you do not know them from the left and middle columns. The name of the animal sound is presented in the right column. This list in MSA, and there are other names or some variations of these names used in colloquial dialects; e.g. the sound of a fly in MSA is (\u0623\u0632\u064a\u0632), however in Egyptian Arabic, we call it (\u0632\u0646). The same word that is used for the sound of the fly (\u0623\u0632\u064a\u0632) is also used for the sound of the airplane!<\/p>\n

Many people who do not know the words that describe the names of animals would just say \u2018 the sound of \u2026.\u2019, e.g. \u2019\u0635\u0648\u062a \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0635\u0627\u0646\u2018.<\/p>\n
