In this post, let\u2019s practice the \u0627\u0644\u0625\u0636\u0627\u0641\u0629<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/b>structure<\/span>. <\/b>This structure, where two or more nouns are put back to back, is known as <\/span>\u0625\u0636\u0627\u0641\u0629 <\/b>which literally means \u201caddition\u201d. Nothing can come between two words in an <\/span>\u0625\u0636\u0627\u0641\u0629 <\/b>so if you want to add an adjective, it must come right at the end and must have the <\/span>definite article \u0627\u0644<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

As you can see above, in English, we have two main ways of describing possession by either using the word \u201cof\u201d or the possessive \u201cs\u201d, for example, \u201cthe teacher\u2019s office\u201d or \u201cthe office of the teacher\u201d. The most common way of describing possession in Arabic is closer to the second example in that the word for \u201coffice\u201d would come first followed by the word for \u201cteacher\u201d. Both words are put together without the need for \u201cof\u201d as it is understood and the last word has the definite article \u0627\u0644<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n
