We particularly looked at expressions that can be used to express\/state an opinion \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0639\u0628\u064a\u0631 \u0639\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0623\u064a\/ \u0648\u062c\u0647\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0646\u0651\u0638\u0631<\/u>. Today\u2019s post will focus on expressions that we can use to ask others \u0633\u0624\u0627\u0644 \u0627\u0644\u0622\u062e\u0631\u064a\u0646 \u00a0for their opinion \u0639\u0646 \u0622\u0631\u0627\u0626\u0647\u0645 <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2- Expressions to ask someone for their opinion <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The other group of expressions we\u2019re going look at is that which can be used to ask one for their opinion.<\/p>\n

A- To ask about something\/ someone<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The most common way of asking another for their opinion is to use the question word \u201cwhat<\/strong>\u201d \u0634\u064f\u0648<\/strong> + \u201cyour<\/strong> opinion<\/strong>\u201d \u0631\u064e\u0623\u0652\u064a\u0650\u0643\u0652<\/strong>. –<\/em>In this case, the preposition \u201cof\u201d\u0628\u0650\u0640 <\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>is added before<\/u> the thing<\/strong> we\u2019re talking about.<\/p>\n

*Interestingly, in Syrian Arabic, the preposition\u0628\u0650\u0640<\/strong> \u00a0becomes\u0641\u0650\u064a<\/strong> \u00a0when the thing or person discussed is referred<\/strong> to using a pronoun<\/u>.<\/p>\n

B- To ask about (doing) certain action (verbal structure) <\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

In case you would like to ask someone for their opinion about doing something, a verbal phrase is added after the main structure of the question: \u0634\u0648 \u0631\u0623\u064a\u0643 .
