For example:<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>.\u0627\u0644\u0639\u0627\u0626\u0650\u0644\u062a\u0627\u0646 \u0647\u0627\u062c\u064e\u0631\u064e\u062a\u0627 \u0625\u0644\u0649 \u062a\u064f\u0631\u0643\u064a\u0627 \u0628\u064e\u0639\u0652\u062f \u0627\u0644\u062d\u064e\u0631\u0652\u0628<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The two families emigrated to Turkey after the war.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>.\u0647\u0630\u0627\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0648\u064e\u0644\u062f\u0627\u0646 \u064a\u064e\u0643\u0652\u062a\u064f\u0628\u0627\u0646\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These two boys are writing.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2728The plural verbs are only used for people. If the subject of a verb is plural but not human, (three or more things) we use the feminine singular:<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>.\u0648\u064e\u0642\u064e\u0639\u064e\u062a \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064f\u062d\u0648\u0646 \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0631\u0652\u0636 \u0648\u0627\u0646\u0652\u0643\u064e\u0633\u064e\u0631\u064e\u062a\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The plates fell on the floor and broke.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>\u00a0.\u0627\u0644\u0645\u064e\u0631\u0627\u0643\u0650\u0632 \u0627\u0644\u0637\u0651\u0650\u0628\u064a\u0629 \u0644\u0627 \u062a\u064f\u063a\u0652\u0644\u064e\u0642 \u064a\u064e\u0648\u0652\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0623\u062d\u062f<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Medical centers do not close on Sundays.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2728If the subject is a group of people, the verb will still be singular if it comes before the subject. It will only change according to whether the subject is masculine or feminine.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>\u00a0.\u0648\u064e\u0635\u064e\u0644\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0650\u062c\u0627\u0644 \u0625\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0625\u062c\u062a\u0645\u0627\u0639\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The men arrived at the meeting.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>.\u0628\u064e\u062f\u064e\u0623\u062a \u0627\u0644\u0637\u0627\u0644\u0650\u0628\u0627\u062a \u0627\u062c\u062a\u0645\u0627\u0639\u0647\u064f\u0646\u0651\u064e<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The (female) students began their meeting.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2728Because the prefixes and suffixes (letters at the beginning and end of the verb) tell you the subject, Arabic does not often use personal pronouns with verbs such as <\/span><b>\u0623\u0646\u0627 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><b>\u0647\u0648<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. If they are used, it is usually for emphasis and comes after the verb:<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>.\u062f\u064e\u062e\u064e\u0644\u064e \u0623\u062e\u064a \u062c\u0627\u0645\u0650\u0639\u0629 \u0628\u064e\u064a\u0631\u0648\u062a \u0641\u064a \u0639\u0627\u0645 \u0662\u0660\u0660\u0665\u060c \u062b\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e \u0628\u064e\u0639\u0652\u062f\u064e \u0633\u064e\u0646\u062a\u064a\u0646 \u062f\u064e\u062e\u064e\u0644\u0652\u062a\u064f \u0623\u0646\u0627<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">My brother attended Beirut University in 2005, then two years later I too attended.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2728The verb can come before or after the subject. This is largely a matter of emphasis\/level of formality. If the sentence starts with a subject, you might see the word <\/span><b>\u0625\u0646 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">first. This word is added for emphasis but has no direct translation.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>.\u0643\u064e\u062a\u064e\u0628\u064e \u062e\u0627\u0644\u0650\u062f \u0631\u0650\u0633\u0627\u0644\u0629 \u0644\u0644\u0645\u064f\u062f\u064a\u0631<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>.\u0625\u0646 \u062e\u0627\u0644\u0650\u062f\u0627\u064b \u0643\u064e\u062a\u064e\u0628\u064e \u0631\u0650\u0633\u0627\u0644\u0629 \u0644\u0644\u0645\u064f\u062f\u064a\u0631<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Both translate to: Khalid wrote a letter to the manager.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2728Look at the next sentences. They have two verbs, before and after the subject.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>.\u062d\u064e\u0636\u064e\u0631\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0645\u064f\u062f\u064e\u0631\u0633\u0648\u0646 \u0627\u062c\u062a\u0645\u0627\u0639\u0627\u064b \u0648\u0627\u062a\u0641\u064e\u0642\u0648\u0627 \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0628\u064e\u0631\u0646\u0627\u0645\u062c \u0627\u0644\u062c\u064e\u062f\u064a\u062f<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The teachers attended a meeting and agreed on the new program.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: right\"><b>.\u062f\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0633\u064e\u062a \u0627\u0644\u0628\u064e\u0646\u0627\u062a \u0644\u0644\u0627\u0645\u062a\u062d\u0627\u0646\u060c \u062b\u064f\u0645 \u062e\u064e\u0631\u064e\u062c\u0652\u0646\u064e<\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The girls studied for the exam and then went out.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Let&#8217;s analyze these sentences.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The subject of the first sentence above is masculine plural <\/span><b>\u0645\u064f\u062f\u0631\u0633\u0648\u0646<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The first verb \u064e<\/span><b>\u062d\u064e\u0636\u064e\u0631 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0has the masculine singular ending because it comes before the subject. The second verb <\/span><b>\u0627\u062a\u0641\u0642\u0648\u0627 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">has the plural ending <\/span><b>\u0648\u0627 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">since it comes after the subject.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The same is true for the second sentence, except that the subject is feminine plural <\/span><b>\u0627\u0644\u0628\u0646\u0627\u062a <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and so the feminine singular ending with <\/span><b>\u062f\u0631\u0633\u062a <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and feminine plural ending <\/span><b>\u0646 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">for \u064e<\/span><b>\u062e\u064e\u0631\u062c\u0646 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">is used.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These are the basic guidelines for using verbs in sentences.
