Backgammon is a very popular game in the Middle East and Arab countries. The game consists of a wooden box that can be decorated or inlaid with pearls or precious wooden pieces. It contains a number of black and white plastic or wooden discs. There are 15 discs of each color. And two hexagonal dice. The challenge of the game takes place between two players only. The game box is divided into two main parts separated by a longitudinal divider, which are identified as the \u201cplayer\u2019s house\u201d and the \u201coutside area\u201d. Each part includes two sides, and each side contains six columns in the form of triangles. The sum of all columns is 24.<\/p>\n
