Today we will be introduced to the second type; the <strong>Yes\/No<\/strong>-question particles. In Arabic, there are two ways of asking a question that needs a yes\/no-answer.\u00a0 These two particles are\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u0647\u064e\u0644\u0652<\/strong><\/span> \/hal\/ and the Hamza <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u0623<\/strong><\/span> \/aa\/ which are both equal to all the auxiliary verbs used in English to ask yes\/no-questions.\u00a0These question particles should always start the question sentence. Here is how they are used:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Use of\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\">\u0647\u064e\u0640\u0644\u0652<\/span> \/hal\/ <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0This particle is used in the affirmative question sentence to ask about its content. The answer should be with <strong>\u0646\u0639\u0645<\/strong> \u00a0\/na&#8217;am\/ in the affirmative or with <strong>\u0644\u0627<\/strong> \u00a0\/la\/ or <strong>\u0643\u0644\u0627<\/strong> \/kal&#8217;la\/ in the negative.
