The Fronted Predicate\u00a0 \u0627\u0644\u062e\u0628\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0645\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0642\u0640\u0640\u062f\u0651\u064e\u0645 <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

As we learned before that the general rule is that the Mubtada’ \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0628\u062a\u062f\u0623<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>begins the nominal sentence.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0However, there are certain cases in which the predicate \u0627\u0644\u062e\u0628\u0631<\/strong><\/span> comes before the Mubtada’ and begins the nominal sentence. Today, we will be introduced to these cases.<\/p>\n

\u00a0* Cases of\u00a0 the Fronted Predicate <\/span>:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a01) If the predicate is Shibh Jomlah \u0634\u0628\u0647 \u062c\u0645\u0644\u0647<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0(e.g. preposition + Noun) and the Mubtada’ is definite \u0645\u0639\u0631\u0641\u0629<\/strong><\/span> .\u00a0Here you can start with the predicate or the Mubtada’<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ex. \u2013 \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0623\u0646\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0627\u0645\u0629\u064f\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span>= In slowness safety is.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Fronted Predicate)<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0627\u0645\u0629 \u064f \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u062a\u0623\u0646\u064a<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>= Safety is in Slowness.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Normal order)<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0–\u00a0 \u0644\u0646\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u064f\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span>= For us Allah is.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 (Fronted Predicate)<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u064f \u0644\u0646\u0627<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>= Allah is for us.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ( Normal Order)<\/p>\n

2) If the predicate is Shibh Jomlah \u0634\u0628\u0647 \u062c\u0645\u0644\u0629<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0and the Mubtada’ is indefinite \u0646\u0643\u0631\u0629<\/strong><\/span> .\u00a0Here the predicate should be fronted.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ex.\u00a0 \u2013 \u0644\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0643\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0644\u064d \u062d\u0642\u0648\u0642\u064c<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0= To everyone (there are) rights.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0643\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0644\u064d \u0648\u0627\u062c\u0628\u0627\u062a\u064c<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>=\u00a0 On everyone (there are) duties.<\/p>\n

3) If the predicate is a word that should start a sentence like the question nouns \u0623\u0633\u0645\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u0627\u0633\u062a\u0641\u0647\u0627\u0645<\/strong><\/span> , then the predicate (The question noun) should be fronted.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ex. \u2013 \u0645\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0627\u0639\u0629\u064f \u061f<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0= What is the time?<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – \u0645\u062a\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0627\u062c\u062a\u0645\u0627\u0639\u064f \u061f<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0= What time is the meeting?<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – \u0623\u064a\u0646 \u0643\u062a\u0627\u0628\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0643\u061f<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>= Where is your book?<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0– \u0643\u064a\u0641 \u0623\u0646\u062a\u064e \u061f<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0= How are you?<\/p>\n

4) If the predicate contains a pronoun \u0636\u0645\u064a\u0631<\/strong><\/span> that refers to the Mubtada’ , then the predicate should be fronted.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ex.\u00a0 –\u00a0 \u0644\u0644\u0634\u0627\u0639\u0631\u0650 \u0623\u0633\u0644\u0648\u0628\u064f\u0640\u0647<\/strong>\u064f\u00a0<\/span> = To the poet (there is) his own style.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 – \u0644\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0643\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0644\u0651\u0650 \u0641\u0627\u0626\u0632 \u064d \u062c\u0627\u0626\u0632\u062a\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0647<\/strong>\u064f<\/span> = To every winner his own prize.<\/p>\n

\u00a0So, all the above sentences are Nominal Sentences but with a fronted predicate.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n
