These verbs come at the \u00a0beginning of the \u00a0nominative sentence. The Mubtada of the nominative sentence becomes the noun subject (Ism) of Kana and sisters wheareas the Khabar becomes the Khabar of Kana and sisters. The case of the Khabar changes from the nominative case to that of the accusative and hence the Dammah changes to a Fat&#8217;ha. In the previous post, we discussed the sisters of kana that refer to time; <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/arabic\/kana-and-sisters-part-2\/\">https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/arabic\/kana-and-sisters-part-2\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Today, we will discuss the other verbs (sisters of Kana) and their meanings.<\/p>\n<p>* <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;text-decoration: underline\">\u0635\u0627\u0631\u064e<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>: This verb refers to <strong>CHANGE<\/strong> and <strong>MODIFICATION<\/strong>. It means &#8220;to turn into&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ex. \u2013 \u0635\u0627\u0631\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0628\u0631\u062a\u0642\u0627\u0644\u064f \u0639\u0635\u064a\u0631\u0627\u064b\u00a0 = <\/strong>The ornage turned into juice.<strong> \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0 <strong>\u0635\u0627\u0631\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0627\u0621\u064f \u0628\u064f\u0640\u062e\u0627\u0631\u0627\u064b<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>= The water turned into vapor.<\/p>\n<p>* <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;text-decoration: underline\">\u0644\u064a\u0633\u064e<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>: This verb refers to <strong>NEGATION<\/strong>. It means &#8220;Not&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Ex<\/strong>.\u00a0 \u2013 <strong>\u0644\u064a\u0633\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0645\u0640\u0631\u064f \u0633\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0631\u0627\u064b\u00a0 <\/strong>= The matter is not a secret.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0 <strong>\u0644\u064a\u0633\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0633\u064f\u0640\u0624\u0627\u0644\u064f \u0635\u0639\u0628\u0627<\/strong>\u064b\u00a0 = The question is not difficult.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0 <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;text-decoration: underline\">\u0645\u0627\u0632\u0627\u0644\u064e<\/span> \/ \u0645\u0627 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;text-decoration: underline\">\u0628\u064e\u0631\u062d\u064e<\/span> \/ <span style=\"color: #ff0000;text-decoration: underline\">\u0645\u0627 \u0641\u062a\u0626\u064e<\/span> \/ <span style=\"color: #ff0000;text-decoration: underline\">\u0645\u0627 \u0627\u0646\u0641\u0643\u0651\u064e<\/span> \/ <span style=\"color: #ff0000;text-decoration: underline\">\u0645\u0627 \u062f\u0627\u0645\u064e\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>These four verbs refer to <strong>CONTINUOUS<\/strong> <strong>ACTIONS<\/strong>. They all mean &#8220;still&#8221; or &#8220;to continue&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>The verb <strong>\u0645\u0627 \u062f\u0627\u0645\u064e\u00a0<\/strong> means &#8220;<strong>as long as<\/strong>&#8221; and can refer to a &#8220;period of time&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>These verbs must be preceded by a negation particle such as;\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>\u0645\u0627<\/strong><\/span> \/ <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>\u0644\u0627<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\/ <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u0644\u0645<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>in order to do the job of Kana.<\/li>\n<li>The predicate (Khabar) of these verbs can often be a verbal sentence <strong>\u062c\u0645\u0644\u0629 \u0641\u0639\u0644\u064a\u0629\u00a0<\/strong>. \u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ex.\u00a0 &#8211; <strong>\u0645\u0627 \u0632\u0627\u0644\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0627\u0645\u064f \u0623\u0645\u0644\u0627\u064b \u0644\u0643\u0644 \u0627\u0644\u0634\u0639\u0648\u0628\u0650\u00a0 <\/strong>= Peace is still a hope for all nations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; <strong>\u0645\u0627 \u0628\u0631\u062d\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0648\u0644\u062f\u064f \u062c\u0627\u0626\u0639\u0627<\/strong>\u064b \u00a0\u00a0= The boy is still hungry.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0 <strong>\u0645\u0627 \u0641\u062a\u0626\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0637\u0631\u064f \u0645\u0646\u0647\u0645\u0631\u0627\u064b<\/strong>\u00a0 = Rain is still pouring.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0 <strong>\u0645\u0627 \u0627\u0646\u0641\u0643\u0651\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0639\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0645\u0640\u0651\u0640\u0627\u0644\u064f \u064a\u0639\u0645\u0644\u0648\u0646 \u0628\u062c\u062f<\/strong>\u064d\u00a0 = The workers continued to work hard.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0 <strong>\u0633\u0623\u062d\u0628\u0643\u0650 \u0645\u0627 \u062f\u064f\u0645\u062a\u064f \u062d\u064a\u0627<\/strong>\u064b\u00a0 = I will love you <strong>as long as I am alive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">\u0643\u0627\u0646\u064e<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span> : This verb refers to the <strong>PAST<\/strong>.
