\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In 1908, there was great unrest and critical debate amongst women<\/strong> \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0651\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0633\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0621<\/strong><\/span> . Women’s oppression and inequality was pushing women to become more and more active \u0646\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0634\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0637<\/strong><\/span> in calling for change. More than 15,000 women marched through New York City demanding shorter hours of work, better pay and the right to vote. In 1909, the first National Women’s Day\u00a0\u00a0 (NWD) was declared on 28 February by the Socialist Party of America<\/strong> \u0627\u0644\u0640\u062d\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0632\u0628\u064f<\/span> \u0627\u0644\u0627\u0634\u0640\u0640\u0652\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0631\u064e\u0627\u0643\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0650\u064a\u0651 \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0652\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0631\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0643\u0640\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0651<\/span><\/strong> .<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In 1910 and during a conference of Working Women inCopenhagen, a German woman called Clara Zitken presented the idea of an international Women’s Day. She proposed that every year in every country, there should be a celebration \u0627\u0650\u062d\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0652\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0641\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0644\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>on the same day \u2013 a Women’s Day \u2013 to press for their demands. All the 100 women attending the conference<\/strong> \u0645\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0624\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0631\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>from different countries approved the idea and thus \u00a0International Women’s Day was the result. On March 19, 1911, the International Women’s Day was honoured the first time in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. More than one million women and men attended IWD rallies campaigning for women’s rights<\/strong> \u062d\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0642\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0642<\/strong><\/span> \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0645\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0631\u0623\u0629<\/span><\/strong> to work, vote, be trained, hold public office and end discrimination<\/strong> \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0651\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0652\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0632<\/strong><\/span> .<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 During the first World War, Russian woman observed their first International Women’s Day on the last February 1913. Later on that year the day was transferred to March 8 and since then this day has remained the global date for celebrating the International Women’s Day. In 1914, further women inEuropeheld rallies to campaign against war<\/strong> \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0640\u062d\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0631\u0652\u0628\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>and to express women’s solidarity.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Since its birth in the socialist movement, the International Women’s Day has grown to become a global day of recognition and celebration across developed and undeveloped countries alike.
