In exile, Shawqi felt as if he has lost his freedom and was deprived from his homeland and people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I will present ovly a part from a long poem called the &#8220;<strong>Seeniyah<\/strong> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0633\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0646\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0629<\/strong> &#8220;. Each line in the poem ends in the sound \/ letter <strong>\u0633<\/strong> \/<strong>siin<\/strong>\/ that is why it is called &#8216;Seeniyah&#8217;. The poem is similar to another poem of an earlier great Arab Poet; Al-Buh&#8217;tory <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0628\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u062d\u0640\u0640\u0652\u0640\u0640\u0640\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0631\u064a\u0651<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The part that we will read today deals with three main ideas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remembering and longing to the beloved home country and the happy times the poet had spent back there when he was young.<\/li>\n<li>Complaining and speaking to the ship as it was the usual means of transport that could take him (the poet) home.<\/li>\n<li>Stating and confirming his (the poet&#8217;s) eternal love to his country wherever he goes; even in heaven.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Now let&#8217;s read the part and hope that my humble translation will help you get the images, ideas and feelings of the poet. Remember that in Classical Arabic (Fus&#8217;ha) poetry, the line consists of two halves.
