Nouns and adjectives that are accusative are called (<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0646\u0635\u0648\u0628<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) in Arabic. There are various endings used to mark the accusative case; depending on the number, gender and definiteness of the noun or adjective in question.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Definite singular (and broken plural) nouns and adjectives are marked by (<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0641\u062a\u062d\u0629<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) which is written as (<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0640\u064e<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">), and sounds like a short \/a\/ <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0642\u0627\u0628\u0644\u062a\u064f <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0627\u0644\u0637\u0627\u0644\u0628\u064e<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0627\u0644\u062c\u062f\u064a\u062f\u064e<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>\u201c<\/span><span>I met<\/span><span>the<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span>new<\/span><\/span><span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">student<\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Indefinite singular (and broken plural) nouns and adjectives are marked by (<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u062a\u0646\u0648\u064a\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0641\u062a\u062d<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) which is written as (<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0627\u064b<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) and has the sound \/ an\/ <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0642\u0627\u0628\u0644\u062a\u064f <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0637\u0627\u0644\u0628\u0627\u064b<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u062c\u062f\u064a\u062f\u0627\u064b<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>\u201c<\/span><span>I met <\/span><span>a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">new<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">student<\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It should be noted that (<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u062a\u0646\u0648\u064a\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0641\u062a\u062d<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) when written on<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">nouns ending in ta\u2019 marbouTa appears only as (<span dir=\"rtl\">\u0640\u064b<\/span>) without the associated alif.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0642\u0627\u0628\u0644\u062a\u064f <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0637\u0627\u0644\u0628\u0629\u064b<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u062c\u062f\u064a\u062f\u0629\u064b<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>\u201c<\/span><span>I met <\/span><span>a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">new<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">student<\/span><\/span><span> (feminine)<\/span><span>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Dual nouns and adjectives are marked by the suffix (<span dir=\"rtl\">\u064a\u0646<\/span>) <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" dir=\"rtl\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0642\u0627\u0628\u0644\u062a\u064f <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u0637\u0627\u0644\u0628\u064a\u0646<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u062c\u062f\u064a\u062f\u064a\u0646<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p
