In Arabic, the word “\u0623\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u062f\u064a<\/strong>” means “hands<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Hence the idea behind the new initiative of Ayaadi<\/strong>: Offering a “helping hand” to all Arabic speakers and learners by launching an e-library portal featuring applications for smartphones<\/a><\/strong> and tablet devices!<\/p>\n

According to Trade Arabia<\/a><\/strong>, the corporate social responsibility initiative known as Ayaadi<\/strong>, part of UAE’<\/strong>s communications leader Etis<\/strong>alet<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0“offers\u00a0e-applications that are aimed at developing the student\u2019s intellectual skills by providing them mobile access<\/a><\/strong> to vital learning resources such as books, newspapers, and research and academic papers.”<\/p>\n

This initiative comes as yet another great news to Arabic fans worldwide, only a few days after\u00a0Google announced the implementation of Arabic Open Source features in its brand new Android 4.1, known as “Jelly Beans.”<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ayaadi\u2019s e-library designed for\u00a0\u0627\u0644\u062a\u0639\u0644\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0625\u0644\u0643\u062a\u0631\u0648\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064a<\/strong> (e-learning)\u00a0has been launched in partnership with\u00a0\u0639\u0646\u0643\u0628\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0648\u062a A<\/strong>nkabut<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(“\u0639\u0646\u0643\u0628\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0648\u062a<\/strong>” means “Spider” in Arabic), the UAE\u2019s national network for research and education.<\/p>\n

All political considerations aside, and although there is still more work ahead needed, Arabic enthusiasts must praise the tremendous efforts achieved by\u00a0\u0627\u0644\u062d\u0643\u0648\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0625\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0631\u0627\u062a\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0629<\/strong> (the Emirati government) in promoting Arabic language.<\/p>\n

UAE’s Minister of Education said recently that Ayaadi’s efforts to “support the development and cultural goals of the UAE and this e-library application is another step in the right direction.”<\/p>\n

“Continuing the development and progress that the UAE is witnessing requires the contribution of various institutions in both private and public sectors. In this regard, Ayaadi is doing a stellar job in creating learning access points that are most convenient to youth besides encouraging \u062b\u0642\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0641\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u064f\u0637\u0627\u0644\u0639\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0629<\/strong> (reading culture) within the community.”<\/p>\n

As part of the e-library initiative, Ayaadi has also introduced \u0645\u064f\u0633\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0628\u0642\u0629 \u0642\u0631\u0627\u0621\u0629<\/strong> (a reading competition) to encourage the students to invest their free time in reading during their \u0639\u064f\u0637\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0629<\/strong> \u0635\u064a\u0641\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0629<\/strong> (summer holidays.)<\/p>\n

The Emirati Minister added: “The initiative to encourage reading supports the series of efforts adopted by the Ministry in strengthening the Arabic language and literature among our youth. The Arabic language and literature is an area of high interest among our wise leadership, as it shapes our identity, and reflects \u062d\u0636\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0631\u062a\u0646\u0627 \u0648\u0645\u064f\u0633\u062a\u0642\u0628\u0644\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627<\/strong> (our civilization and future.)”<\/p>\n

The government aims to support the positive trends that enhance the Arabic language.<\/p>\n

“The e-learning application has been developed bearing in mind the directives of the UAE\u2019s national leadership, which has encouraged the use of Arabic language in education programs and delivered through telecommunication and \u062a\u0642\u0646\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0639\u0644\u0648\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u062a<\/strong> (information technology) platforms, both regionally and internationally.”<\/p>\n
