He was born on \u00a0the 15<sup>th<\/sup> of September, 1912 in Suez City. His father was a middle class jeweler. His mother died when he was still a little child and his step-mother used to hurt him. Like most children of the time, he went to a Kuttab <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0643\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0651\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0628<\/strong> to learn reading and writing the Quran. Then, he continued in a Primary school until fourth grade when his father broke. Ismail had to leave school and depend on himself to earn his living, so he worked in a cloth shop and then in a car station.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hs9eFWiQ-As&#038;feature=related\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hs9eFWiQ-As&amp;feature=related<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In the 1930s and at the age of seventeen, Ismail ran from home and travelled to Cairo where he worked in a Caf\u00e9 <strong>\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0642\u0640\u0640\u0647\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0649<\/strong> . He used to spend the night at cheap hotels. Ismail loved the songs of the great Egyptian singer and composer at the time; Muhammad Abdel-Wahhab <strong>\u0645\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u062d\u0640\u0640\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0651\u064e\u0640\u0640\u062f<\/strong> <strong>\u0639\u0640\u0640\u0628\u0640\u0640\u062f<\/strong> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0647\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0628<\/strong>. He used to repeat and sing these songs since he was a kid. He did not earn much money, so he left to work as an agent <strong>\u0648\u0643\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0644<\/strong> in a lawyer&#8217;s office for some time. After that his dream <strong>\u062d\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0652\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0645<\/strong> of being a singer came to the surface again especially after he met his life-long friend; the comedy writer Abo Al-So&#8217;oud Al-Ibyari <strong>\u0623\u0628\u0640\u0640\u0648<\/strong> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0633\u0640\u0640\u0651\u064f\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0639\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0648\u062f<\/strong> <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0625\u0628\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0631\u0649<\/strong> . They both formed a successful artistic dual and they both owned the Night Club of Badi&#8217;ah Masabni <strong>\u0628\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u062f\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0639\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0629<\/strong> <strong>\u0645\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0635\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0628\u0640\u0640\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0649<\/strong> (a famous Egyptian singer) before they move to the cinema and the theatre. Abo Al-So&#8217;od appointed Ismail Yasin to Badi&#8217;ah and her band to do monologues at her club. Ismail was very successful at the art of monologue and this work continued for ten years from 1935 to 1945. Abo Al-So&#8217;oud was of course his monologue composer and writer. He also did monologues for the radio and got 4 Egyptian pounds for each monologue <strong>\u0645\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0644\u0640\u0640\u064f\u0640\u0640\u0648\u062c<\/strong> , which was a lot of money. Then, he participated in so many films where he played the second star part until he got the first star part. In 1945, his talent <strong>\u0645\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0652\u0647\u0640\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0628\u0640\u0640\u0640\u064e\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0629<\/strong> attracted the famous actor Anwar Wagdi <strong>\u0623\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0652\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0648\u064e\u0631<\/strong> <strong>\u0648\u064e\u062c\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0652\u0640\u0640\u0640\u062f\u0650\u0649<\/strong> who chose him for most of his films and produced for him later on. Ismail was first star in the film <strong>\u0627\u0644\u0646\u0627\u0635\u062d<\/strong> (The Smart One) that was produced by Wagdi in 1949. Ismail Yasin filmed more than 166 films during his life. The years 1952, 1953 and 1954 were his golden age because he filmed 16 films in each year.
