The revolution of the Algerian people lasted for nearly seven years of political and armed struggle. The revolution ended with the declaration of Algeria&#8217;s Independence <strong>\u0625\u0633\u0640\u0640\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0642\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0644\u0627\u0644<\/strong> on 5 July, 1962. Nearly one and half million people were killed during this revolution. That is why Algeria was given the nickname of the country of one and a half million martyrs <strong>\u0628\u0640\u0644\u0640\u0640\u062f \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0644\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0646 \u0648 \u0646\u0640\u0640\u0635\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0641 \u0634\u0640\u0640\u0647\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u062f<\/strong> all over the Arab world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The National Liberation Front <strong>\u062c\u0640\u0628\u0640\u0647\u0640\u0640\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0640\u062a\u0640\u062d\u0640\u0640\u0631\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0648\u0637\u0640\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0649<\/strong> was a socialist political party that was set up on November 1 1954. It consisted of other smaller groups that were united under one goal; to obtain independence for Algeria from France. This Front established itself as the main nationalist group and had reorganized itself into something like a provisional government <strong>\u062d\u0640\u0643\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0645\u0640\u0640\u0629 \u0645\u0640\u0624\u0642\u0640\u0640\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0629<\/strong> . It consisted of a five-man executive and legislative body. The Front had also an armed wing that was called the National Liberation Army <strong>\u062c\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0634 \u0627\u0644\u0640\u062a\u0640\u0640\u062d\u0640\u0640\u0631\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0640\u0648\u0637\u0640\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0649<\/strong> that played the most important role in the liberation process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All France&#8217;s efforts to defeat the National Army or to stop the revolution were a failure. The National Liberation Front succeeded in persuading the Algerian people to revolt and flood the streets of big cities in mass demonstrations <strong>\u0645\u0640\u0638\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0647\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0631\u0627\u062a<\/strong> ; a step that forced the Algerian case onto the United Nations agenda. The war for independence continued until March 1962 when the French government finally signed the Evian Accords <strong>\u0625\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0641\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0642\u0640\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u062a \u0627\u064a\u0640\u0641\u0640\u064a\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0646<\/strong> and a Cease Fire Agreement <strong>\u0645\u0640\u0639\u0640\u0627\u0647\u0640\u0640\u0640\u062f\u0629 \u0648\u0642\u0640\u0640\u0641 \u0625\u0637\u0640\u0640\u0644\u0627\u0642 \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0646\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0631<\/strong> with the National Liberation Front. In July, the Algerian people approved the cease fire agreement with France in a referendum <strong>\u0625\u0633\u0640\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0641\u0640\u0640\u062a\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u0621<\/strong> supporting the economic and social cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It is worth noting that Algeria&#8217;s struggle <strong>\u0643\u0640\u0640\u0650\u0640\u0641\u0640\u0640\u0640\u0627\u062d<\/strong> for independence and resistance for the French has never stopped since the first days of occupation.
