Well this might seem as a surprise to many of you around the world, but one of the most prestigious universities in Lebanon and the Middle East, the Lebanese American University has finally launched its Arabic Language and Literature program. Can you imagine that in an Arabic speaking country, where Arabic is actually the official language, some universities still lack an official Arabic language program?
