In this post, I explain (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0627\u0633\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0632\u0645\u0627\u0646<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) \u201cnoun of time\u201d, which is a noun that indicates the time of an action, e.g. (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0645\u0648\u0639\u062f<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) \u201cappointment\u201d, (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0645\u0648\u0644\u062f<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) \u201cbirthday\u201d. It is formed in the same way that we form the noun of place, i.e. by following the patterns (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0645\u0641\u0639\u0644<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) and (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0645\u0641\u0639\u0644\u0629<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">It is interesting to note that there are some words that serve both as noun of time and noun of place, e.g. (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0645\u0634\u0631\u0642<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) \u201csunrise\u201d both place and time of sunrise\u201d, and (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0645\u063a\u0631\u0628<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) \u201csunset\u201d both the place and time of sunset. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The noun of time and noun of place can also be formed from some nouns, e.g. from (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0635\u064a\u0641<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) \u201csummer\u201d, we can have (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0645\u0635\u064a\u0641<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) which means \u201csummer resort. Both forms can also be formed from verbs other than form I, i.e. verbs that have more than 3 letters. They can be formed by making the present and replacing the first letter with (<span dir=\"rtl\">\u0645<\/span>) and putting a fat<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">h<\/span>a (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">\u0640\u064e<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) \u201cshort a\u201d on the letter before last, e.g. from (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0627\u062e\u062a\u0628\u0631<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) \u201ctest\u201d, we can have (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0645\u064f\u062e\u062a\u0628\u064e\u0631<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) which means \u201claboratory\u201d, and from (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0627\u0644\u062a\u0642\u0649<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) \u201cmeet\u201d, we can have (<\/span><span dir=\"rtl\" style=\"font-size: 13pt;\">\u0645\u064f\u0644\u062a\u0642\u064e\u0649<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">) which means \u201ctime and place of meeting\u201d or \u201cforum\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the previous post, I explained (\u0627\u0633\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0643\u0627\u0646) \u201cnoun of place\u201d.
